The New York State Bar Association is holding an animal law student writing competition. First prize is $1000 and the deadline to enter is June 15, 2009. More details here.
Non-MSBA members: The event is still free for Mitchell students. Just send an email directly to Kim Basting at kbasting@mnbar.org and let her know you would like to register directly.
Will Potter, award-winning independent journalist, will be visiting Mitchell to talk about the effect of anti-terrorism laws on eco- and animal rights activists.
Thank you to everyone who attended the PLP on Monday with Ramsey County Attorney Susan Gaertner. The event was definitely a success and Ms. Gaertner was pleased with the student interest on the topic.
